Gary Hatfield Obituary


GARY HATFIELD, 66, of Salt Rock, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Ohio State University Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born January 27, 1959, a son of the late Okey and Veda Hatfield. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Michael Shane Hatfield and Charlotte Thompson, and two sisters-in-law: Debbie Hatfield and Beverly Hatfield.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Celia (Chapman) Hatfield; two daughters Natisha Hatfield (Kodi), and Amber Stephens (Mason); five grandchildren, Madison, Tripp, Emma, Axell, and Piper. He is also survived by two brothers: Frankie Hatfield and Allen Hatfield.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Donald Childers. Burial will follow at Hatfield Cemetery, Madison Creek Road, Branchland, WV.
