Gilbert Bailey Obituary
GILBERT GARLAND BAILEY, 89, of Huntington, WV, passed away December 21, 2025. He was born August 2, 1936, in Huntington, WV, son of the late Covey and Dora Brumfield Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Bessie Irene Bailey and his son Brent Robert Bailey.
He is survived by one son Clinton Bailey, one grandson Cordell Garland Bailey, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jamie Jefferson. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
