GLADYS FARLEY Obituary
GLADYS MAE FARLEY, 89, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. She was born June 29, 1927, in Putnam County, West Virginia, to the late James and Ethel Casto King. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Deaina Russell, Irene Earl, Cleo Blackwells and Melzena Niday; and three brothers, Estel King, Bobby King and Billy King. She was a member of the South Point United Methodist Church. Gladys was active in bridge clubs and liked swing dancing. She is survived by one son, Timmy (Donna) Farley; and one daughter Tammy (Ronald) Chatterton; five grandchildren, James Jason Farley of Ashland, Ky., Wesley Clay of Wyoming, Nicholas (Amber) Clay of South Point, Ohio, Krystal Stutler of South Point, Ohio, and Amy (David) Alfrey of Ironton, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Olivia Clay, Owen Bohannon, Andrew Munion and Kristopher Cade. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Heartland of Riverview for their care and love they showed our mother over the years. Funeral service will be conducted noon Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Ohio. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.

Dear Tammy,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I remember her asking us when we all took bike rides,band practice or anything if we were "staying out of trouble " LOL
She was always a very classy lady.

Gladys was always a person who enjoyed looking her best and who was well liked.We are glad she no longer has to endure the suffering of this world, and we pray she has went home to be with the Lord.
