Jackie Call Obituary


JACKIE "JACK" CARROLL CALL, 75, of Glenwood, WV, formerly of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2025. Jack was born in Hurricane, WV, where he grew up as a child. Going into adulthood, Jack had many accomplishments, he had a degree from Marshall University in business. He was also a minister. Jack worked most of his life as a contractor.
Jack had a love for playing the guitar, bluegrass music, and baking. He was well known by the community for his baked goods. He had a passion for airplanes and the Air Force.
Jack was a devoted Christian and a child of God, he was a man of great faith. Jack always had a smile on his face and liked to joke a lot to make others smile. He was always helping others.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Louie Call and his mother, Ellen Call, two brothers, Teddy and Pete, and his beloved dog Lilly.
Jack is survived by his sons, Todd and Jeff, brothers, Johnny, Wayne, Dennis, and Tim; sisters, Carolyn, Phyllis, Joyce, Juanita, and Wilma; nieces, Crystal, Emily and Samantha; nephew, Joshua; special nephew, Draven Kim; and a host of friends and family.
Funeral services and burial will be at Call's Family Cemetery. Honoring his wishes, all services will be private. Jack will be greatly missed and always remembered.
