JANET SUE STANLEY, 79, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jay Ross at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Sue was born on February 3, 1939, in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Harold Elsworth and Ramona Geraldine Floyd Walker. She was an engineer for Corbin Limited. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel H. Stanley; and a sister, Phyllis Clagg. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie (Kent) Sargent of Greenville, S.C., Laura "Gidget" (Nub) Ross of Huntington and Shelley Isaacs Campus of Canyon Lake, Calif.; three grandchildren, Samantha (Alek) Barker, Jaymi Ross and Katie Sargent; a great-grandchild, Levi Slater; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Marie) Walker; three nieces and nephews, Amy Shephard, Angie Clagg and John Clagg; two special cousins, Judy Straub and Donna Perry; and her special girls, Daphne Murphy, Teri Jefferies, Karen Macon, Becky Meade and Ashley Ross; and a host of other family and friends.
