Joseph Brumfield Obituary
JOSEPH BOSTIC BRUMFIELD, 56, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at St. Mary's Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born October 23, 1968 in Huntington, WV, a son of Gail Ward Brumfield of Lavalette, WV and the late Bostic Brumfield. Joe was the assistant principal at Wayne High School and a member of Lavalette United Methodist Church.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Skylar Hill and husband, Zac of Teays Valley, WV; two sons, Kaden Brumfield and fiance, Kassidy Lemons, Brody Brumfield, all of Huntington, WV; a sister, Janet Hall and husband, Bucky of Huntington, WV; a cherished granddaughter whom he loved unconditionally, Ava Hill; the mother of his children, Tonya Brumfield; special friends, Sara Stapleton, Doug Shilot, Velvet Kelly, Rick Frye and Scott Bellomy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV. Visitation will be from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
