KAY RACHEL CARTER ANDERSON, was a beloved mother to her three girls who will miss her dearly.
Kay passed away at age 77, in New Port Richey, Florida on August 18, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Huntington, WV to Thomas Hysell and Helen Collins, and was raised by her mother and stepfather Clarence Carter. Kay graduated from Barboursville High School and worked at Dwight's before retiring from Corbin Limited.
Kay was a devoted mother to Kim Adkins (Larry Pancake), Becky Love (Bob), and Connie Perry (Greg), her stepchildren, Ed Anderson (Judy) and Michelle McMaster (Joey). She always made sure they felt the love and support she provided.
Kay had six grandchildren, David Ratcliff, Adam Evicks, Brady Ratcliff, Bradley Koeppen, Rachael Colbeck and Shannon Love, and three step grandchildren, Ashley Ruble, Joseph McMaster and Ryan Anderson. She also had four great grandchildren, Sadie and Maggie Ratcliff, Hudson and Parker Koeppen, one step great grandchild, Bella Ruble and her little dog Missy who never left her side.
Kay impacted so many people's lives, she loved big, never met a stranger and lived life full of kids, grand and great grandchildren, dancing, slot machines, karaoke, bowling, fishing, traveling, cooking and eating. Those who knew her will be better for it.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and brother Arty Carter, is survived by her husband Ed Anderson, her children, grand and great grandchildren, family and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Per her wishes there will be no services.
