LINDA SUE WILKES, 62, of Huntington, formerly of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Thursday October 30, 2014 at home. She was born December 6, 1951 in Lincoln County, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Runyon; and brother Lloyd "Chub" Runyon. She was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Carl Wilkes; mother Lois Browning Runyon of Harts, W.Va.; daughter Heather Hampton of Huntington; son Carl II (Summer) Wilkes of Huntington; five grandchildren Jon Derek (Brittni) Hampton, Carley (Ryan) Napier, Braxton Cornell, Bailey Cornell, and Bryce Wilkes; two great grandsons, Carson and Caleb Hampton; three sisters Edna (Larry) Vance of Harts, W.Va., Diana (Chris) Fourkas of Park Ridge, Ill.; Robin (Jon) Jay of Springfield, Mo.; a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly; and a special little friend Maggie. Pallbearers will be Todd Mays II, Jon Derek Hampton, Paul Turley, Braxton Cornell, Macky Mays, Dylan Mays, Ryan Napier and Chad Runyon. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Ray Williamson and Pastor Phil Williamson. Entombment will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday November 3, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory.
