Lucy Dailey Obituary


LUCY E. DAILEY, 77, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2024. She led a full Christian life and was part of many activities with her church. Lucy met the love of her lifetime, Herskel, in high school and later had two beautiful daughters, Yvonne Ginn (Bill) and Maria Bryant (Rick). Along with her parents and special aunt Carroll Atkinson, those going on before her include brothers Otha and Paul Roush, sister Mary Richmond, sister-in-law Donna Roush and nephew Mark Richmond. Surviving her loss besides her loving husband and daughters include sister Leah Plumley (Danny); brothers Homer Jr. and John Roush (Laurie); brother-in-law Dennis Richmond; sisters-in-law Sherrill Roush and Cheryl Roush; grandchildren Eric Ginn (Jade), Ricky Bryant (Greer) and Zach Dailey (Jenna) and bonus grandchildren Dr. Jeff Johnson and Karen Johnson, Jonae and Judson Johnson; great-grandchildren include Jude, Charley, Amelia and Maggie and one great-grandson on the way. Blessed with a large family, Lucy leaves behind many nieces and nephews, cousins and a loving church family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Dr. Jeff Johnson. Burial will be in Swann Cemetery, Route 1, West Hamlin, W.Va. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace
