Margaret Stone Obituary

MARGARET "MARGIE" KITKA STONE, 98, went to her heavenly home on December 6, 2025. Born on October 1, 1927 in Red Jacket, WV to the late Alexander and Margaret Kitka. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Riley V. and one sister Rosie Kitka Bruner. Margie is survived by a daughter Carolyn Stone of Tampa, FL and a son John Stone (Debbie) of Huntington, WV; two grandchildren, Meghan Miller (Troy) of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Alex Stone of Huntington, WV, one great-grandson, Miles Riley Miller of Gallipolis, Ohio, as well as one brother Joseph Kitka of Tennessee.
Margie was a graduate of Matewan High School class of 1945 and St. Mary's School of Nursing class of 1950. She was a devoted member of the Highlawn Presbyterian Church, spending many days in service to the Lord.
"Well done my good and faithful servant"
- Matthew 25:23. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Highlawn Presbyterian Church, Hospice of Huntington or Faith In Action.
Per her wishes there will be no service.
