Martha Ann "Gaga" Fry

MARTHA ANN "GAGA" FRY, 84, of Wayne, WV, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1941, in Huntington, WV, as a daughter of the late John Marion Boyd and Rhoda Perry Loudin.
Martha Ann was a retired secretary for the WV Department of Health and Human Resources and served on the Wayne Town Council for eight years. She was also a devout member of the Wayne Baptist Church and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity as well as Hospice of Huntington.
Her children and grandchildren were the loves of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to support them in various activities. Whether it was on a field, stage, or court, she was s present and their biggest fan. Her happiest days were spent on the beach or any place where she was surrounded by family. She was reunited in heaven with her husband, Julius C. Fry, her son, Jeffrey D. Fry, and a stepson, Julius C. "Bucky" Fry II.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Jill A. Parsons and husband, Danny; a daughter-in-law, Tonia Fry; five grandchildren, Ben Fry (Jen), Emily Warner (Kyle), Jacey Parker (Ryan), Rileigh Parsons, and Baylee Parsons; two great-grandchildren, Maisie Warner and Bentley Fry; several special extended family members, Sammy Pete Fry (Carol), Patricia Booth (Renick), and Randy Blake Fry (Lambie); and a host of friends and family members.
Martha Ann was a "Gaga" to all, young and old.
Her family would like to extend a special heart felt thank you to the SMMC nursing staff on units ER, Telemetry 1, and Open Heart ICU for their exemplary care and constant compassion for Martha Ann and her family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Steve Hensley, Rick Perdue and Fred Ferguson. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
