Mary Sims Obituary
MARY SADIE SIMS, 104, of Scott Depot, WV, formerly of Huntington, passed away Wednesday November 19, 2025, at English Meadows, Scott Depot, WV. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Danny McSweeney officiating. Burial will be in Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV.
Mary was born April 8, 1921, in Apple Grove, WV, a daughter of the late Harry & Rose Scholmer Nibert. She was a member of the former Fourth Ave United Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years; Kenneth Sims, brothers & sisters; Florence Nibert, Albert Nibert, Mildred Nibert Wray, Evelyn Nibert Cyrus, Dorothy Nibert Langdon, Harry Nibert, Jr, Thomas & Frederick Nibert.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces.
Visitation will be from Noon until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
