PAUL CHAPMAN Obituary

PAUL "BUD" CHAPMAN, born February 16, 1947, a son of Arvil and Clara Chapman of Culloden, W.Va., is at rest, having passed away on October 31, 2018. He leaves behind his wife, Judy, sons, Mark and Dan (Mandy), and siblings, Ernest Chapman (Bonnie), Velma Miller (Preston), Sylvia Bowles, Reba Carpenter, Nellie Curry (Winford), and surviving sister-in-law, Maxine Chapman, along with 24 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lola Mitchell and Macel Tyree, and one brother, Earl (Jack) Chapman. He graduated from Milton High School in 1965 and then spent 26 years in the U.S. Army. After retirement from the Army, he continued to work at Budget Rent-A-Car and Lear Corporation, finally retiring from the work field in 2006 to enjoy time with his family. He was a wonderful husband and father and was a good example of a servant who taught his children the importance of selfless dedication. Thomas Scroggs Funeral Home, Morrow, Ga., is assisting the family. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the Milton (W.Va.) Baptist Church.
