Pauline Adkins Obituary
PAULINE BRADSHAW ADKINS, 81, of Wayne, WV passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne with Bro. David Adkins and Bro. Eric Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne.
She was born May 11, 1944 at Wayne, WV, a daughter of the late Vernon and Virginia Mae Gilkerson Bradshaw. Pauline formerly worked as a secretary at Crockett Elementary School and then as a nurse for various doctors for the next twenty-three years. She was also a former EMT for Wayne Volunteer Fire Department and a 1963 graduate of Wayne High School.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Alan Adkins. Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-two years, Bernard Keith Adkins; a son, Robert Keith (Chrystal) Adkins of Wayne; a grandson, Robert Wolfgang Adkins of Wayne; two great-grandchildren, Camaron Adkins and Keaton Adkins; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington or Alzheimer's Research Foundation.

You will be missed and surly you are loved. Since mom´s stroke last year, mom hadn´t talked to Pauline and I hadn´t been able to keep up either. But coming home was a highlight for mom and I always love seeing family, it was the best. Visiting Keith and you were always great, talking about all the wonderful memories. I loved your mom Pauline, Mae, they all reminded me of my grandma Thelma. It is hard to see all of them go but we all will be together again. Some shouting for sure will going on like in that old Gilkerson church, up there. Mom said it was the best, can we even imagine what it will be like in heaven. A big hallelujah!! Know we will be thinking of you all and sorry we can´t come. Hugs love and prayers to you all
