Ray McClung Obituary


RAY NELSON McCLUNG, 85, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born in Rupert, WV on February 8, 1940, to the late Lawrence L. and Mary Ann McClung. He is preceded in death by his siblings, James G. McClung, Violet Belcher, Anita Viars and Judy McClung.
Ray was a Christian and was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
Ray retired after 28 years of service from Greyhound Bus Lines and was a managing owner of Giovanni's Pizza in Chesapeake, Ohio.
Ray is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Barbara L. McClung, his children Elizabeth Stuart (Richard), Lisa McClung and John McClung, grandsons Shane Stuart (Kimberly), Boyd Adams (Megan), Troy Stuart (Taylor), Nicholas Adams (Diana) and J. Gunnar McClung, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the funeral home.
