RICHARD EDMONDS Obituary
RICHARD PAUL EDMONDS, 73, of Milton, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was born May 30, 1942, in Cabell County, a son of the late Charles Curtis and Margaret Glina Vititoe Edmonds. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lou Lunsford Edmonds; one brother, Jimmy L. Edmonds and his wife Barbara of Milton; one sister, Judy Billups of Scott Depot; three children, Charles David Edmonds and wife, Laura Jean Edmonds of Fraziers Bottom, Bobby Scott Edmonds and wife, Amy Lynn Edmonds of Milton and Lisa Darlene Beckett and husband, Ronald Mack Beckett of Salt Rock; six grandchildren, Bradley Edmonds (Angela), Hallie Bailey (Courtland), Dustin Edmonds, Brittany Edmonds, Bryanne Edmonds, Taylor Beckett; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Bailey and Levi Edmonds. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor John Smith and Pastor Harley Case officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

We send our deepest sympathy and prayers to Nancy and all family and loved ones. We did not find out in time before leaving for Illinois and Indiana. We are sorry we cannot be there for the celebration of our friend's life. Richard will be missed by so many.

We will always remember Richard. He truly was a dear friend. He use to call me his daughter in church and it was comforting to know he was there if I needed a shoulder to cry on or just someone to listen. We will see you again in Heaven our brother in CHRIST. Love Ed &Selena Miller.

Richard and I were good friends over a bunch of years. One of our last conversations lasted two hours. I know hard to believe, but those fish tales take time. Will miss Richard....condolences to the family !
