Robert Chapman Obituary


ROBERT "BOBCAT" CHAPMAN, 72 years young, from Milton, WV, the town he loved so much, passed away at home Saturday, August 23, 2025. Son of the late Rita Mae Nichols, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff "Flathead" Chapman, and his sister Brenda Lucas.
He served his country in the Army. He was a founding member of the BOTW MC. He loved his brothers and loved riding his Harley. Robert was a member of New Heights Church in Milton, WV. He loved our church family and they loved him.
Robert is survived by his brother, Russell Lee Nichols; his nieces, Trina Miller, Kimberly Nichols and Sarita Rick; cousins who were more like brothers, Rodney, David and Johnny; his daughter, Sherry Beth; grandchildren, Brooke and Christopher and his two great grandsons who he adored, Kingston and Waylen. He is also survived by the love of his life, wife Bari Chapman; his little buddy, Bryson Chapman; his special friends, Derek and Adam Jackson; his stepsons; and special friend Roger Johnson.
Memorial service will be held at New Heights Church, Milton on September 7, 2025 at 2 p.m. Pastor Will Basham will be leading the service. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family.
