ROBERT J. OLDS, 76 years of age, at rest November 26, 2015. Former resident of South Point, Ohio. Worked at and retired from Hayflich & Steinberg in Huntington, West Virginia. Loving husband of Mary Alyce for 56 years. Caring father of Rob (Susan Donnelly) and Jenny (Bob) Morgan. Grandfather of Hanly, Sydney and Reese Morgan. Brother of Margaret (Michael) Emlaw and Caroline (Denny) Walsh. Celebration of his life is 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at First Congregational Church of Western Springs, 1106 Chestnut St., Western Springs, IL. Reception to follow at the church. I'm not sure you'll see this, as Mr. Olds passed a year ago, but I worked for Bob at Hayflich & Steinberg many years ago. I left WV, got married and have had 4 children. I just had my 4th and planned to send Bob a picture as I have done with the others, when I learned of his passing. I know yesterday must have been difficult being the anniversary but I pray you have found comfort and peace in God. Bob was always so kind to me in a time when I was just learning how to be an adult. He was a wonderful mentor.
