Stephen Insco Obituary

STEPHEN LYNN INSCO was born January 6, 1955, in Hitchins, Ky, the son of Leroy and Maxine Gabbard Insco. Steve's early years were lived in Hitchins and in Huntington, West Virginia. He also resided in Ashland, Kentucky, for periods during this time.
Steve was a Christian and he possessed a great love for animals and for individuals with special needs. He served as a volunteer with Special Olympics for years. He also volunteered with Huntington's summer regatta every year.
In 1996, Steve relocated from Huntington to Columbus, Ohio. He passed on April 2, 2024, at Kobacker House Hospice in Columbus. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Ellen Cyrus of Wayne, West Virginia. He is survived by his niece, Jessica Holsinger of Chesapeake, Ohio, and his partner of 28 years, Lynn Jackson of Columbus.

To whomever sees this my mom and I had some great times with Steve & Sue Ellen along with their mom, Jessica, and later on Lynn. It truly saddens me that I'm just now hearing about Steve's passing. My sincere condolences to both Lynn and Jessica.

my name is Linda Beaty. I lived on third Street when Steve and Sue Ellen lived in a little White House across the railroad tracks from me. We played together all the time their mother was always so kind so sorry to hear that Sue Ellen had also passed lots of good childhood memories so sorry for your loss.
