Victoria Mitchell Obituary
VICTORIA SUE "VICKIE" MITCHELL, 75, of Huntington, WV, gained her angel wings on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
Victoria was born on December 16, 1950, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Maston and Mary Edwards Mitchell. She was a graduate of Huntington East High School and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Proctorville.
Vickie was a beloved sister and aunt who cherished her family deeply. She will be remembered for her kindness, giving spirit, and the love she shared with those around her.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Mitchell Neal of Chesapeake, OH; one brother, John (Sheila) Mitchell of Lesage, WV; five nieces, Tara (Alan) Whitt, Trena (Hen) Aviv, Brandi Neal, Tiffany Neal, and Cheree (Wayne) Jarrell; ten great-nieces and great-nephews, Namon Sevy, Leandra Sevy, Tamar Aviv, John Tyler, Zeon Aviv, Jacob Tyler, Titus Sevy, Brayden Jarrell, Jasper Neal, and Hallie Jarrell; and one great-great-nephew, Liam Sevy.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Chapman's Mortuary in Huntington. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Garrett Wheeler officiating. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery.
