WANDA BLANKENSHIP Obituary
WANDA LEE BLANKENSHIP, 73, of Huntington, passed away on June 10, 2018, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Born on May 4, 1945, in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Lee and Ola Opal Dean Bellomy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jackie Lee Damron, and her second husband, Roger Dale Blankenship. Wanda was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Alanda Damron and Barbara Adkins; brother, Randy Ashworth; grandchildren, Chrissy Dawn Rogers and Brandon McCarley; great-grandchildren, Maddy Rose, Abby Rose, Bella Rogers and Grant Rogers; niece and nephews, Adrienne Worden, Mark Damron and Steve Damron; son-in-law, Robert Adkins; grandson-in-law, Tommy Rogers; special friends, Pat Saunders, Kim Cumm, Phyllis Porter, Deborah Smith, Patty Raines, Mary Shannon Lester; and her beloved cat, Snowball. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. The family will welcome friends after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
