William Albert Crawford

WILLIAM ALBERT "DOODLE" CRAWFORD, 86, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away November 2, 2025. He was born July 19, 1939, in Amherstdale, WV, son of the late Albert and Birdie Wiley Crawford of Kiahsville. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Deanna Crawford. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years LaAnna McCallister Crawford; his children Ricky Crawford (Tena), their daughter Erin, and their granddaughter Zoey; Terry Crawford (Angie), their children Brian and Jacob, and their grandson D'Angello; Jackie Cardwell (Rush), their children Matthew and Allie, and their grandchildren Luka, Juniper, and Avery; Christina Black (Dink), their children Hunter, Katie, and Annalynn, and their grandchildren Everleigh and Liam.
He was a member and deacon at Valley of Decision Church.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor DeWayne Laverty and Rick Nida. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington and a special thanks to DeWayne Laverty and Rick Nida.
