Dear Charlene & Gale,
Sending our condolences in losing your brother, I've lost mine and know it is a great loss to the family. I had really forgotten your maiden name until I read the obituary. Hope this finds you able to attend the services. I noticed a note from Rosemary so wondered if she and her family were in Decatur. I'm the only member of my family left so I sympathize with your loss. Think about you and your family often. We are fine as 81 year olds can be, I think. Remember all the good times you have enjoyed with your brother and other family members. Yvonne and Dale Slifer

Judy, I am so sad for your loss and I want you to know that you can call Gary or me any time if you need us. Dave was such a sweet soul. I will miss his smiling face and hugs at church. He had such a beautiful singing voice and we were so blessed to hear it in a past Christmas progam at the church. I'm sure God is using his beautiful voice in Heaven....again, Gary and I will truly miss Dave.
