Dean H. Fisher
DECATUR - Dean H. Fisher, 73, of Decatur, died Monday, June 11, 2007, in his home. Born June 25, 1933, in Decatur, the son of Lynn H. and Edna Josephine (Carlberg) Fisher, Dean worked at Caterpillar for 30 plus years as a millwright retiring in 1989. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dean married Sue Beck on May 30, 1952 in Decatur. Surviving are his wife, Sue of Decatur; daughters: Lori (Tom) Arnold, Judy Paine, and Barb (Mike) Hicks all of Shelbyville, TN; son, Rick (Janice) Fisher of Oreana; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis K. (Gerald) Gregory of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents, and twin sister Delores. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 14, 2007, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor John Laux officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta. Memorial gifts may be made to: DMH Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
