Diana Gay Bolin 74 of Decatur died Sunday October 19, 2025, at Carriages of Decatur.
Funeral service to celebrate Diana's life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday October 22, 2025, at First Christian Church Decatur with Pastor Jonathan Grunden officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hands of God Hospice. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
Diana was born in November of 1950 in Decatur daughter of Harold and Mary Alice Newsham. She was a graduate of MacArthur High School class of 1968. She loved to "shake a leg", exercise and socialize at the YMCA. Diana was known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. She worked for Bolin's Appliance Service, owned and operated a residential cleaning service and was a licensed beautician. Diana married Robert M. Bolin on November 23, 1968.
Surviving is her husband, Robert M. Bolin of Decatur; sons, Jeffrey (Veronica) Bolin of Northern MI., Eric (Alissa) Bolin of Eastern, TN; grandchildren, Karis, Nathan, Jonathan Bolin and Tim Arp.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Being the same age I now read obits. Diana and I went to school together many years ago. I remeber her pretty mother also. Always so pretty and sweet. Must of been years at Oakland school. Im sorry for your loss! Jill
