March 25, 1934 - November 28, 2025
Eddie Lee Smith, 91 of Decatur died at his home on Friday November 28, 2025.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday December 4, 2025, at Galilee Baptist Church, 3470 Christmas Tree Road Decatur, IL 62521.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow at North Fork Cemetery. Memorials can be made out to Galilee Baptist Church.
Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
Eddie was born in March of 1934, son of Ed Raymond and Ruth Smith. He graduated from Alton High School in 1954. Eddie worked for A.E. Staley for 35 years, retiring in 1993. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing golf. Eddie married Marcella Fry on June 16, 1953, and she survives.
