My fondest memory of Pork is when I was about 8 or so and he had me sing Mrs. Claus you've got the blaas on his radio station. May your music and spirit live in our hearts and may the Lord bless your family and friends as we grieve your passing. Have fun singing with the angels!

I was deeply sadened to hear of Mr. Armstrong's passing. His son, Harley, and my son, Blake, have been in school together for a few years now. They have also attended swim lessons and scouts together. Mr. Armstrong was such a strong part of Harley's activities. My whole family has always enjoyed his company. Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to Harley and his family. God Bless, Tim, MaryAnn, Blake and Brock Boland, as well as Blake's Grandpa, Norm Desmarais.

I have to start back in 1965 as the daughter of Mary Jo, I remember way back when I was 5 years old when the band played in Hall's basement. Throughout all the years my mom has always had a deep love and respect for you and you will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. I hope and pray that you are forever in the loving arms of Jesus. One day we will all be together again, Praise God! Love to you and yours,

So very sad to hear about Pork. I consider myself fortunate to have heard Pork & the Ducks this summer. We also made a trip to Madison this past winter, as Pork was such a great singer and entertainer. He will be missed, and I send my condolences to his family.

We were both dismayed and horrified to learn of Pork's passing. We enjoyed him numerous times at State Fair Park in West Allis, WI as well as other Wisconsin festivals such as Harvest Fair.

Our family meant "Pork" at a pig roast in my brothers (Dennis Graver) yard in 1977.

Pork and the Ducks played on a hay rack. Over those 30+ years we have followed him all over. It became tradition to go to Milwaukee State Fair. Our family has felt such a great lost, we will hold fast all those wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pork's

family, the Havana Ducks and his many friends. Peace be with you.

It was with great sadness and a terrible sense of loss that I learned of your passing. 30+ years is a long time between friends, but the memories seem like yesterday. You brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew you.

I'll see you on the other side.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend. Pork could bring a smile and a laugh no matter what the situation. Having him and his bandmates as part of our agency was a wonderful thing for me. Those guys are great and I will miss the music, but I will keep the memories they have shared with me and so many others. God Speed Pork, I know you're already in the band.

Love,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Pork's death. I first discovered Pork and the band in Champaign in the mid 70s. I saw his very first performance at Summerfest and missed very few years after that. He had a great number of fans from Rockton and we made many road trips through the years. We will all greatly miss him and all the great times he gave us. There has never been a better entertainer. I'm thankful I got to know him and have so many great memories. My sympathies go out to his family, the guys in the band, and all his friends. I hope heaven enjoys him as much as we did here on earth.

Jerry - you'll live on in all our hearts forever. One of the greatest talents to never hit the so called "big time". I'll never forget those Panama Reds sessions (including the REO shared stage) and the toilet seat guitar. Hope you find a good picker up there! I remember the Embers.
