Dear Judy and family,

I was so very sorry to hear of Jerry's death. I was a classmate, (twin sister to Janet (Stauter) Kemper) and we had some good times in school. I had not seen him until our last class get-together at Sheldon and Genelles' home in July. I am so grateful that I got to see you both, and got to visit a little about "old times." But at the same time, it is such a "punch in the stomach" to have just become reacquainted, and for him to go home so soon. I am so glad that he (and you) became reacqainted with old friends, and hopefully these memories will bring some comfort. From other entries, it sounds like he moved from being a "Guardian Angel" here on earth, to being one at home in heaven.

You have our deepest sympathy. We hope you will continue meeting with us, as you feel up to it. We lift you up in our prayers, that God's Comfort and Presence helps the healing to begin.

Our Love & Prayers, Jane (Stauter) and Ron Beck

Judy,

How ironic that we had dinner together just the night before Jerry's passing. I'm so glad I spent the time with you & had a chance to listen to you. Who would have know that just in a few hours Jerry would be called home.

My prayers are with you & your family during this tough time of adjusting. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if I can do anything to help you in your healing process.

We certainly grieve with you, as you are having to deal with the loss of your husband and our friend and classmate.

There is a certain amount of joy in realizing that you both came to our 45th reunion, and continured to meet with us. It certainly seemed that getting together after all of these years meant a lot to him.

What makes this whole thing come down hard, is, of course, that you both chose to come out to Sheldon's home where we met last. We could tell that he was hurting, and yet at the same time, enjoying the commradare.

There is joy in his joining us, and sadness that he had to leave so soon.

The time we spent getting to know you and getting to know him better, seems very precious.

We love you and want you to come join us again,if and when you feel like it.

Again, you have our sympathy, and I will be praying for you during this difficult time.

Love, janet
