John and I grew up in the same area of Harristown and I was able to talk to him when he attended my brother Jim Beck's funeral. John was a great human being as a kid and as an adult will miss him on facebook where we often shared what was going on in our lives and him showing off all his canning and cooking, he will be greatly missed. It was always a pleasure talking with John. Even though I had only the pleasure of his company the past 5 years, this man was full of knowledge and had plenty of entertaining stories to tell. I will miss him dearly for what he taught me about life and the Christian values he believed in. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to all that loved this man.
