I am a former childhood friend of Shirley and Linda was our Sitter before and after school. The Barnett family had ties to us in numerous ways. Neal was my Grandparents Pastor. Ina watched us before my sister and I caught or Bus got St John´s Luther School. On Sunday I went to our Church then joined Gma &Gpa Baum to attend their church and sit with Shirley. I would return that evening with G&G to their Church. I lived at Church, mine and theirs. I had a beautiful, God filled childhood. Unfortunately, we had to move from Illinois to California due to the Government transferring my Dad. Linda, Shirley and their parents were a big part of my upbringing. I can still tear-up thinking of them and home. Kaye and Cindy we´re good friends with my sister, Connie Jo Lowry-Parker. I clearly remember Vivian, who past away at the time of my childhood. It was truly sad. God be with you all during this difficult time.

I will always remember Linda as the friendly neighbor, who never met a stranger. She exemplified kindness and loved her family very much. Her wonderful sense of humor and light hearted nature lifted my spirits on many occasions. She will be dearly missed and remembered fondly.
