Special mention for Jo Davis (daughter #2) who has been a cherished part of our family circle. Jo gave care, love, and valued companionship to Margie, especially in the later years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack; and brothers, Bill and Don Thompson; and most recently, sister-in-law, Doris Thompson.
Special thanks to Brookdale Assisted Living in Urbana for their care and support and to Hawthorne Inn (Memory Lane) staff and nurses (as well as Carle hospice) for the peace and comfort that surrounded Margie during her final days.
Margie had a sweet disposition and appreciation for all the kindness she received. She said, "thank you" with a smile many times during the day.
She had a happy, well-lived 100 years of life. She gave love unconditionally and so received it in return.
Finally, she can get her well-deserved heavenly reward and reunite with her beloved husband, Jack. Happy together at last....Rest in peace sweet lady.
