Patsi was both of my daughter´s teacher at Franklin school. They both loved her class and said she is my favorite teacher. Later Patsi and I played golf together. Lots of great memories.

I loved my time at Franklin and in Mrs. Behrends 5th grade class. She was one of many teachers I loved there! I remember our art projects being special and fun and especially remember Mrs. Behrends giving me my first "B". I was upset about it and spoke to her about it. She told me it would build character and I should get used to not always getting A's. She was partially right! Didn't get another "B" until law school, but it definitely did develop my character and as a bonus, my negotiation skills!
I always admired Mrs. Behrends as a classy lady. Thank you for being a meaningful and memorable teacher.
My condolences and love to her family and friends.

I have many fond memories of working with Patsi at Franklin School. She was especially gifted at bringing out the artistic and creative side of so many of her students. They were able to excel in this area and many felt a success in school because of her, that they hadn't experienced before. She was a lovely lady, great co-worker, and dear friend. She will be missed by many, especially the "old Franklin guard".

I met Patsi when I transferred to Franklin School in 1979. I was the day custodian. Patsi insisted I call her by her first name and always treated me as an equal. We developed a great friendship and after she retired we would often meet on Friday nights at El Rodeo for dinner with Al and Judy. I can truly say that she was one of a kind. She loved her family dearly.

First met her as a parent of a student at Muffley. Then we reconnected when I transferred to Franklin where she was teaching. Then after we were both retire, we met at the Disc. She walking and I playing Pickleball. We shared memories about both Muffley and Franklin. I have memories of Natalie when she was a student of mine.
