Dear Nesbit family -- and especially Patty and Charles:

Rob and I send our deepest sympathy to you.

We know from the deaths of Judi's parents that long illnesses can be very difficult for everyone involved.

But they also bring the blessing of time to communicate, which is robbed from the families of those who die suddenly.

Our thoughts are with you all.
