Sandra Carlson Obituary
Sandra Lee Carlson, age 68, was the dear daughter of the late Henry E. and Lottie (nee Hafczuk); dear sister of Joann Rhoads, Patricia Hite (husband Randall), and Paula Wilkinson (husband Jerry); dear aunt and great-aunt of many; cherished and devoted companion of Whiskers the Kitty; beloved and devoted teacher for more than 40 years.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sandra's memory to St. Hillary School Scholarship Fund, 645 Moorfield Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333 or Diabetes Association, 3601 S. Green Rd. #100, Cleveland, OH 44122. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 7, 2004 at St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 A.M.. Interment at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sandra at DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.), SUNDAY, 3 to 7 P.M. Sandy & I became friends in the 1st grade at Grant Ele. We were staunch "Indian baseball buddies". Ladies Day found us at Lakefront cheering the 1948 World Champs. Dennis joined us in the 8th grade at CFHS & our friendship continued thru graduation in 1953. Sandy honored us as a bridesmaid at our 1956 wedding. We reunited in 1994 & the friendship continued as before; now Jacobs Field cheering "The Tribe". We loved Sandy & will always recall her constant humor & hearty laughter. God grant our Beloved Friend eternal peace & rest.

Sandy has surely left this world a better place. I am very fortunate to have gotten to know her so much better this year at St.Hilary and I am so grateful that she shared her cookie recipies. Each time I make them I will have fond memories of her.
