Thanks to all who left notes here, and who were able to come to Mom's services. There is a typo in her obituary that I'd like to correct, she passed on the 29th of May, not the 19th. I've enjoyed reading all the different ways Mom touched so many lives, and we are all richer for the time we had with her. Until we all see her again, remember her and all that she did for all of us.
I think I was in my 30s before I stopped hating being told I was just like my mother, and it was a few years after that before I took it as the compliment it always was meant to be. If I really could be just like my mom, I wouldn't want to be anything else.

Dear Family,
Sharon was a wonderful friend to so many, when my son Peter was ill she came to my home every day for over a year and for the last 23 years has sent me flowers on the day he passed away. She loved her family and friends dearly and we will miss her. I am so glad we kept in touch over the years and I was able to be with her the day before her death. Jerry, Dawn and Kris if ever I can be there for you as she was for me all you have to do is ask. My love and prayers are with you all.

Sharon was a faithful friend and a wealth of information. I feel blessed to have known her for so many years. I had the pleasure of working with her in one way or another for 24 years while in the mortgage industry.
She will now reap her rewards in heaven. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Jerry:
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time. I was sorry to hear the news. I am currently in the midwest (as I write this). Ironically, I know the two of you grew up in the midwest. I have thought of you today.

Grandma is one of the best "life lesson" teachers I've ever had. Her experiences, stories and and entire life are an inspiration to me, and I'm sure many others. My life has been formed and given shape be her, and I will never forget her love.

Kenny, Erma, Jan, Debbye and Bev,
I wanted you to know how many fond memories that I have of Sharon as a church friend in the BYF group doing fun activities with Mark and Von as our group leaders. Sharon was a wonderful, caring friend to me with her warmth, pleasant and loving personality. I know she will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have had Sharon in their lives as I did.
May God bless all of you and her family in this time of sorrow.
