I am very sorry. I remember being called into the office after a fight. I didn't cause much trouble in high school and I was scare to death of Butko. He didn't yell at us but told us to knock it off. I think to this day he was just impressed I stood up for something. Again sorry.
Take care,

I took care of Bill during his time at Pleasant meadows up until the last year he was there when I left PMCV. Bill was a great guy. I loved to see the look on his face when Fred and the boys came to cut his hair and take him out for pie after the hair cut. My daughter also loved to visit Bill as she came to volunteer at PMCV.Bill was like another grandpa. I didnt know Bill in his younger years, but I am honered that I knew him in his last years of life. Just letting you know Nancy and Tricia that you are both in my thoughts and I hope you have past memories of Bill that you can share at this time.

I have memories of Bill and Rosemary. Bob Hausmann loved Rosemary when she worked for him as Sheriff of Douglas County. She was just a sweet person. Our daughter, Terry Hausman Galloway was Bill's secretary at TCHS. She loved working for him. Finally together again; farewell. You go to a better place Bill. Thinking of you

I have many memories of Bill, first as a scared high school cheerleader and student in his driver's ed class, and later I worked with him at the U of I in the Athletic Department. A tough exterior & heart of gold.
