It only took attendance at a few family occasions to recognize the warmth, tenderness, and generosity that Agnes Stern exuded to all who surrounded her, especially her kin. She had been without doubt the guiding force and glowing core of her sizeable family. From intimate Sunday lunches to festive New Year’s Eve galas, this exceptionally strong and exultant woman had been central to the confluence of both her family and her friends. To say that this lady will be missed is an understatement at best. I myself feel privileged to have known her over the past few years, and her passing is a heartbreak for all whose lives were blessed to intersect with hers. My condolences and affection are extended to the family during this period of mourning and always.
