Dearest Larrie, Michael, Margie & Family:
I just heard about Arlene's passing and wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy.
It goes without saying how much she will be missed.
She was one of those people who radiated warmth, love and happiness to not only her family and friends, but to those she just met.
No matter what you shared with her, whether the news of your day or the greatest accomplishment of your life, her response was always the same. In her eyes, everything you did was the greatest or the best.
Celebrate the time you were privileged to share, her constant encouragement, remember how much she loved you and how much she was loved by all.
The next time you look up and see the stars at night, know that they shine brighter because she smiles among them.

Dear Larrie, Michael, Ira and Robin,
I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of one of the sweetest people in the whole wide world. Irreplaceable in everyone's heart that had the luck to be related, a friend, or a valued neighbor! We enjoyed lots of fun times together, whether it was parties, boating, love for animals and a genuine good soul.I don't remember her without a smile on her face. Larrie, she was your best audience and a very darn good sport! I send you my deepest sympathy and very sorry I was unable to attend her service.

Dear Larrie. My sister called this morning with the sad news. Don't know where to begin, so many old memories. Larry you and I in PS#5. That is a long time ago. Newly married in our apartment in Bay Harbor with your smart poodle, don't remember name. Getting pregnant, fun dinners and just good friends. Just the other day I came across half of a dollar bill. Arlene tore it in half for good luck. Every time I see it I think of two dear old friends.
Just remember all the good memories, I am sure there are many.

my heart breaks for you larrie, there are no words strong enough in the world..... i loved visiting you and arlene very much, i so looked forward to laughing with you both. even while i'm writing , i'm crying, and smiling with wonderful memories. arlene had the ability to make everyone around her feel so special and loved, and i know for a fact that she felt the same way, because she told me once how lucky she was to have such a wonderful family, and how blessed she felt.

Dearest Larry,
I'm so sorry to hear the news about Arlene. My memories of her are through my life bring a smile to my face. She was so soft spoken and kind. I think of the 2 of you, my god parents and I want you to know how special you have been in my life. Your laughter and jokes, bigger than life and Arlene just taking it all in in stride. Her warmth and love just totally encompassing. I still remember coming down to stay with you when I was in college. I'm so grateful and thankful that my family got to meet and know Arlene and enjoy her ( and you too).

Arlene was one of the Angels sent from heaven to be with us for a time, to make our lives joyful. She smiled,laughed at Larry"s jokes and made us all feel good. She NEVER complained when she clearly had pain, but was only concerned about us. She was made in her mother's image. Jesse was also a dear, dear lady.
We so loved our friendship with Arlene and Larry and are so saddened by the loss. Our compassionate thoughts go out to Larry and the family.
