Dear Audrey,
I was so grateful to feel Daddy Art's presence through the love of family and friends. The love Daddy Art inspired is a testament to the man he was. Though he left a hole in our hearts with his passing, he certainly filled it with unique and enduring memories.

On the 24th of Feb., 2013, our entire family and a few dear friends gathered at the cemetery to share our feelings and thoughts about the man we loved. Tomorrow, March 1st would be our 49th wedding anniversary. Not a day goes by that you are with me, and you will be in my heart forever. Audrey

We celebrated your life, both at your funeral one year ago, which was truly amazing and again this past week at your
one year Yarzheit. When the month of "Adar" comes,
happiness increases!!! Well it certainly is true regarding our initial separation and then making it through the first
year without you! This uncovering of the headstone was
so meaningful with so much family and friends around to
share the moments. Everyone tried so hard to be there,
either part or all of the time and you could just feel "Daddy's" presence enjoying all the action.
It was a true blessing for so many people to come together,
mostly from out of town, to honor once again someone we all truly loved....

Artie Ball, It's hard to believe that a year has gone bye. Your Wonderful Family and of course Audrey celebrated your unveiling of your stone. I'm sure you were looking down on the whole thing with a smile. Your memories live on through everyone as that was your gift. I know you will always be there in spirit when I need my friend to give me answers. Coming to visit you means the world to me and I hope you don't mind the occasional drive by where I shout out "Hey Artie Ball". Again, you will always be in my heart and Thanks for being there. Keep on smiling down, we could all use it!

Dear Audrey and family - It was with heavy heart that I learned of Art's passing. It is rare that one can say that someone is a truly honest person, but I can state with a certainty that Art Barker was one of the most sincere, honest persons I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, filled with integrity. I know this because I have been his tax accountant for many years; one can tell! And Audrey - his love for your was obvious in everything he said and did. My warmest condolences to you and all the family. Pastor Sandy Cencebaugh

Artie Ball, To say what is missing from my life now that you are at peace, is a difficult thing. You brought me into your family, made me feel like a son, taught me so so much, but most of all, were my best friend. I will look to the stars and find yours, and smile knowing that you will always be with me. There is a saying about an empty heart, but it really is not accurate, as my heart will always be filled with memories of you and the love that you had for Audrey, Allan, Bob, Mindy, Kathy and the rest of your family and friends. ??? ?? Love, Billy Ball

Audrey, Allan, Bobby, Mindy, Kathy,
It is very rare in this life that you can find a person that you can truly call friend. Most of us leave this life with many acquantances, buudies, chums and colleagues. Art was a rare friend who touched so many lives and we are blessed to have been part of him along with the Artisms that followed. He listened, he advised and then if you didn't take his advice he told you why you went down the wrong path. There is no one who knew Art who didn't love him for the person he was. How lucky and fotunate each of us has been to know, revere, respect, admire and love Art. He has left me and many whose lives he's touched that much better off for knowing him and being a part of the energy he shared with each of us. To me, Art was a mentor, a father, a brother and friend and I will miss him dearly every day. With love, Eric

Audrey, It is with a great deal of sadness and heartfelt sympathy that I learned of Arthur's passing. In the short time I knew Arthur we immediately connected growing up in Miami Beach we first had similar memories of the old city history. Arthur was a mans man sharing our prejudices on politics, the economy, travel and devotion to family. Arthur's winning affability, intelligence and resourcefulness it was no wonder that he succeeded in so much that he did in his lifetime. Most of all his appreciation and love for his beautiful Audrey which was his foundation and committment to overcome many health adversities. I will remember Arthur fondly and can acknowledge to you Audrey during our numerous meetings at the hospital what an outstanding wife and woman you are. The very best to you and your family..

With deep sympathy. Rejoice in this hope: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day."-Joh 6:40.

Uncle Artie, The wonderful memories I have of you can never be taken away. You were like a movie star to me. And your love of Aunt Audrey was like a fairytale. So beautiful to watch.
