Little did I know that when I spoke here three weeks ago to eulogize my dear friend, Judith, that I would be standing here again today expressing my emotions for her beloved husband, Arthur.
In my mind, the tragic accident that claimed both their lives in such a short period of time is incomprehensible, but I do believe that after being together in life for 67 years, God did not want them separated even at this time.
Arthur was a quiet, ethical, dignified person with a keen sense of humor. He was very much involved with stamps and coins, and was always willing to share his knowledge, enthusiasm, and understanding with others.
Arthur was always ready and able to help others when the occasion arose, and I will always remember him as an honorable, peace-loving, and gentle man. He was intellectual, knowledgeable, and had a high regard for education and self-development, and it was always a pleasure to be in his company.
Life is so ephemeral, but Arthur will never be forgotten by his devoted family and friends, and we will always keep his memory alive in our hearts, where it will endure as a blessing forever.
