Beverly Clark Obituary

CLARK, BEVERLY, 69, of Pembroke Pines, died peacefully March 31, 2008, following a stroke. For five years she co-owned and operated the Vienna Coffee House in Cooper City. A native of St. Paul, MN, she was a stewardess for Northwest Airlines when she met her husband, Mike. Following their 1959 marriage, her principal profession was rearing and shepherding their two children and supporting and encouraging her husband in his journalism and aviation careers. She also worked or volunteered in a variety of positions in the nursing profession over the years. After Mike retired, they acquired and operated the popular coffee house until 2005. Throughout her too-short lifetime, she always carried an insight and understanding of people, a deep concern for animals, and wit and wisdom wherever she went, and brightened the days of all she met. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael Clark (and wife Katherine) of Biloxi, MS and Julianne Reynolds (and husband Robert) of Miami; four grandchildren, Kayleigh and Nicholas Clark and Delaney and Owen Reynolds; and two brothers, Robert and Bradley Gunther. Private celebrations of her life will be held in Florida and in Tennessee, her final resting place. To visit this Guest Book Online, go to www.MiamiHerald.com/obituaries.

Isn't it odd that no matter where we are and no matter how much time has passed, news of those we care for finds it way to our hearts. My hope is that this message of love for you and the children finds its way to you soon. So very sad. Your former, faithful secretary....Kathy Rainone Bussell

Mike, Michael & Julianne;

I was deeply saddened to read of Mom C's passing. I always had a special place for her in my heart, just as I do for the rest of your family. I consider you all an extended part of my family. Although we may not be as close as we once were, I still have many fond memories of all the good times we enjoyed together. You all are in my prayers.
