Carol Fagan

FAGAN Carol Fagan, long time Key Largo resident and business person, lost a courageous five year battle with metastatic cancer. The struggle came to a peaceful end, at home on September 1st, with her loving husband, life partner, and other half, Michael, at her side. Hospice of the Florida Keys did a wonderful job of helping Michael keep her final days pain and anxiety free. A Magna Cum Laude graduate from Temple University, Carol was a medical records administrator at large hospital in Baltimore as well as a teacher and consultant when she met Michael. Soon thereafter, they moved to the Keys in 1979 and the adventure began. Carol and Michael loved to travel, and over the past 20 years visited many exotic places to learn more about the world. Carol retired from Marr Properties, Inc., last year due to complications from her illness. A Celebration of Her Life will take place on October 6, 2012, at the Civic Club on Ocean Bay Drive between the hours of 2 and 5 pm. Please join her friends and family to celebrate the life a of a wonderful wife, daughter, aunt, and great aunt, as she leaves this world for whatever the future holds.
