With his warm smile, happy hello, and helping hand, Darren was the first to greet us when we moved in next door. The love for his family was a joy to see.

I was so shocked and sorry to hear of Darren's passing. He and I grew up together in the same neighborhood, went to grade school together and played soccer on the same team until we entered high school. He was always so positive and had such a great spirit. Fastest runner on the team as well! He will be remembered and missed and you are all in our prayers.

Dear Nancy -
I lost touch with Darren after I transferred high schools, but always kept up with his life through various friends. I had the pleasure of knowing Darren since we were both in 4th grade. We played together, picked on each other and rode the bus together. He was one of the nicest, and kindest of kids. He always had that smirk on his face. I can't imagine the pain you are going through, but always remember your husband had a strong impact on everyone he met.
