Donald Kemp Obituary
Don was born on June 25th 1938 to Mervin and Nora Kemp of Miami, FL. After he graduated from Miami High in 1956, Don went on to work for Southern Bell where he had a decades long career.
Don met Joyce Roberts and they married in 1960. They enjoyed a 65 year marriage.
They went on and had 2 sons Wade and Jeffery.
In 1991, Don retired and spent most days taking care of his mom Nora and her 2nd husband Charles Kemp. He loved showing/drag racing his Grand National and working in his yard. His first love was his Willy Boat and taking people out spearfishing and lobstering.
Don was the proud father of 2 sons: Wade Kemp and his husband David Bennett of Palm City, FL and Jeffery Kemp, and his wife Ashley. He has 1 grandson, Collins Kemp all of Spartanburg, SC.
No services have been planned at this time. A memorial will follow.
