Dorothy Mravic Obituary

MRAVIC, DOROTHY "Grammie", born in Aliquippa, PA on April 22, 2913 and passed away on April 21, 2004. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and lived a full life with the love of her life, Arthur, of 57 years in Riverside, Ill. Dorothy had a special gift with people and spoiling new grandchildren gave her pleasure. Her door was always open to family and friends, her kitchen never closed and her garden was always in bloom. For the past 10 years Dorothy resided at East Ridge Retirement Village. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur and daughter, JoAnn Brehm. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Merle (Arthur) McCormick, son Arthur (Lynn) Mravic, 8 grandchildren, Karen Wilson, George Brehm, Lynn Shropshire, and John Breham, Leslie McCormick, Arthur McCormick, Brad McCormick and Jennifer Mravic and 11 Great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their thanks to Pola Johnson, the wonderful woman who provided loving care and friendship to Dorothy. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Noon Saturday at The Church of the Epiphany (8235 SW 57 Ave.). Inurnment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
