My deepest sympathies. May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Keep in mind that God keeps in his memory those whom we lose because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15)

I spent a short time with Dr. Halpert in Miami while doing an externship. He was kind, thoughtful with exemplary behavior observed by all. He embodied the word "Resilience". I and others who met him will never forget him. It was a privilege to have been in his company.
