I met Ed while I, and my firm at the time: Needham & Co. were planning the last private placement for the company before going public. We were business associates then, but over the following years became good friends. I echo the comments about his accomplishments and drive, there aren't many folks that share those qualities. He's missed yesterday, today, and all the tomorrows.

Nancy, family and friends. Ed is still very missed today, not surprising as his many talents drove his unique personality for so many years. I go back to the very early days of Citrix having put together the last private placement for the company, Ed was a part of that and ensuing funding for the company. We became good friends having visited with him several times post the Citrix days. To everyone I share your sorrow on this anniversary. Stu Sanderson

Nancy, family and friends. Although 6 yrs. have gone by since Ed's passing, all of us who knew him will clearly remember this day. Our relationship started out in business with the last private equity financing we did for Citrix, followed by the secondary public offering. Ed quickly became a great friend. He possessed both the intellect and style that reflected his immense talents. Still missed by all of us. Stu Sanderson

Nancy and family, so sorry for your loss. I met Ed in the early days of Citrix while putting together a financing for the company. Ed was clearly the talent at the company and remained a sincere friend for years. A loss for everyone.

When I met Ed 6 years ago, I knew he was a well known tech pioneer, that had major impacts on Microsoft OS Software and Citrix. Ed was so interesting and knowledeable about technology. He was also the nicest most to down to earth guy. I could not stop engaging him about technology and applications thereof. Ed was and is a pioneer, his spirit, kindness and genuineness is one we should all emulate. I am sure he will be just as fascinationg as he enters his next phase of afterlife.

To Nancy and the family, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. He made a real impact. I remember when he said, as he was building Citrix, that it was just one big Junior Achievement company. This was because he first gained the spark to be an entrepreneur - with JA. As did Nancy! We have been and will always be proud that Ed was a very successful and heartfelt JA Alumnus - and we were honored to induct him into the JA Hall of Fame in 1998. He left too soon, and painfully so for me, as my mother also died at age 59 from pancreatic cancer. We will miss him.

I did not know Ed or his family. However my heart goes out to them. My beloved husband John of 30 years died 30 days after his diagnosis with pancreatic cancer. So, I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to the family as a stranger who cares and has been there. If you ever need the shoulder of someone who has been there just contact me anytime 24/7...Angela at 904-704-9726

To my cousin Ed, you were the big gentle man like your dad. It was a pleasure finally getting to know you and Nancy. You have left a hole in our hearts of the dear loved ones that have left us too soon. My prayers for your immediate family.
