I felt that Fr Ernie was placed at the St Vincent Parish to bring me into the Catholic Faith after many years of searching for where I belonged. I'll always be grateful to him for that.

Father Ernie was the person that brought me to the Catholic faith. He accomplished many good works while in Madison, and will never be forgotten. He has now gone home to the Lord, which he served all his life. He will be missed.
