Esther Knuck Obituary

Esther Knuck
November 3, 1923 - October 15, 2021
Miami, Florida - Esther Turner Clark Knuck, a long-time resident of Miami-Dade County, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at South Miami Hospital. She was 97 years old.
Esther was born on November 3, 1923 in Connecticut to Bruce Greaves Clark and Esther Hall Turner and was the oldest of four children. At the age of 2, Esther and her family moved to Florida. Esther graduated from Miami Senior High School where she was an athlete and a cheerleader.
While she was in high school she met her husband, Frank, at a "girls' break" dance. As she told it, Frank shook her hand, thanked her for the dance, and asked her to do it again soon. Esther and Frank were married for 61 years until Frank's death in 2004.
Esther always said that she was blessed with an amazing family, and often remarked that she and Frank had a wonderful life together. During their years together, they enjoyed spending weekends with family and friends in Stiltsville, a small community of beach houses in the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay. They also enjoyed spending time at their vacation homes in Key Largo, Florida and Highlands, North Carolina.
Esther's favorite pastime in later years, was spending time in Key Largo with her significant other Donald Rhindress and their close friends. Esther and Donald split their time together between Hialeah and Key Largo.
Esther was an amazing woman with such a kind heart. She loved dancing, traveling and was an avid Miami Dolphins football fan. Esther lived life to the fullest every day and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Esther is survived by her children, Frank Knuck Jr. (Marilyn) and John Knuck (Donna); her six grandchildren, Kenny Andrews (Suzy), Ron Andrews (Pat), Sandy Tabert (Tom), Frank Knuck III, Kara Wallwork (Tyler), and John Knuck Jr.; and her six great-grandchildren, Beth Roberson, Ethan Andrews, Emmy Andrews, Caitlyn Tabert, Violet Wallwork, and Nicholas Wallwork. She is predeceased by her parents, Bruce Clark and Esther Turner, her sister Frances Goff, her brothers Bruce "Buzz" Clark Jr, Phillip Clark, her husband Judge Frank Knuck, her daughter Terry Andrews, and her granddaughter Laurie Knuck.
A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Landmark Funeral Home located at 4200 Hollywood Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please give generously to the Susan G. My condolences to her friends and family. She was part of our judicial family. The Knucks were kind to so many, especially sharing their Stiltsville home graciously.
