Frank Hegedus Obituary

HEGEDUS FRANK F. Born Ferenc Frank Hegedus July 26, 1944 in Szeged, Hungary. Died at his home in Davie, Florida this November 3, 2002 at the age of 58. Frank, like many others in Hungary under the communist occupation, was unavoidably separated from his parents and escaped into Austria in 1956. Through the assistance of family and the Red Cross, Frank was reunited with his parents in 1961. He joined them in Montreal, Canada. While living in Montreal, where he had emigrated, he became a licensed electrician. After a time, Father (George) and son (Frank) decided to work together and they built GF Electrical until in 1977 they elected to move to Miami and continue to work their trade, as partners at Miami Beach Electric. Finally, in 1980, Frank elected to pursue his trade independently, which eventually led him to being the Regional Manager at Tyco Fire and Security. He is survived by his parents, George and Eva Hegedus; his children, Victory, Bryan, Jennifer, Frank Jr., and his wife. Despite trials and tribulations, sorrow and tears, there was laughter and joy. His death will be mourned. Love, Victory, Huguette and the rest of his Family.
